Hingham–Part Time Social Worker

Status:                        Part-time, 10 hours/week  

Salary Range:            Starting at $28.57 per hour, Grade 11   

Duties: The Town of Hingham Board of Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to perform administrative, technical and professional work in coordinating case management for mental and behavioral health services in the local community.  Work includes serving as a resource and referral source for the public, providing information and education to the public, serving as a resource for Town Departments, assessing the needs of persons at risk, and all other related duties as required. Employee works under the general direction of the Executive Health Officer.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, a Master’s Degree is preferred.  A candidate should have Behavioral Health/Hoarding Disorder experience. Certification as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) is preferred, and three (3) years demonstrable experience working with client populations in social service settings, or any relevant combination of education and experience. A candidate for this position must have a valid driver’s license, CORI verification and will be a mandated reporter under MGL and 258 CMR 12.00.
