Dracut–Outreach Coordinator


The Town of Dracut seeks an organized, compassionate, and dedicated person to act as Outreach Coordinator for the Council on Aging.  This is a part-time, not to exceed 19 hours per week, position with no benefits.  Salary is $14,928.  This position is responsible for educating the Dracut community on available Senior Center activities and services, while providing support and assistance to the Social Service Coordinator with client work.  Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, or related area of study; two years’ experience working with the elderly and/or other at risk populations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of the Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and experience in serving those with dementia a plus.  Must be well versed in all Microsoft computer applications.  Experience with the MySeniorCenter tracking system a plus.  Marketing experience a plus. Valid motor vehicle driver’s license and access to an automobile required.
