The Town of Hatfield Council on Aging Board of Directors seeks a full time, highly-motivated individual to perform administrative and supervisory office duties. Director oversees daily operations of senior center/COA office, including security of property, records and data. The Director is accountable for fiscal year operations and grant opportunities; attends all regular and special meetings of the Board of Directors/Department Head/Emergency Management Committee. Must demonstrate previous office experience/Excel & Word proficiency. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written English language skills; demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Collaboration is a critical component of the position.
Recommended Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED a must, College Degree, Certification, or equivalent experience in Human Services or related fields preferred. Exemplifies creative problem solving skills, dependability, resourcefulness, kindness, and a sense of humor. Upon offer of employment, a CORI approved status is required. Successful candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and be CPR & AED certified.
