This research study has been shared with us and approved by EOEA for distribution.

Researchers at UMass Lowell are inviting you to take part in a voluntary research survey. If you are over 18 years of age and perform daily care for a family member with heart failure, consider helping us learn more to help people like you.

We are looking at compassion fatigue in family caregivers caring for family members with end-stage heart failure. Our goal is to find out about your experiences so we can help nurses make decisions about planning for care in the future.

If you agree to participate in this research, you will be asked to complete a one-time anonymous survey about your experiences as a family caregiver.  You can use your phone, tablet, or computer.  The survey should take only 15-20 minutes.  If you want to stop and come back to the survey that is ok.  If you would like a paper survey mailed to you, please click on the link provided at the start of the survey.  A paper survey and self-addressed, stamped envelope will be mailed to you. Your mailing information will be kept confidential.

In return for your time for completing the survey, the first 100 completed surveys will be entered in a drawing for a tablet (if interested).
