The City of Methuen is seeking a qualified candidate for Executive Director of the Methuen Council on Aging/Senior Activity Center.  The qualified candidate is responsible for the planning, development, supervision, and coordination of programs, services and activities that meet the needs of the elder residents of the City of Methuen. Demonstratable background in leadership, management, communication, and knowledge of local, state and federal resources available to elder population. Leader of departmental team that strives for the efficient operation of the Senior Center to provide quality programs in a clean, safe, welcoming environment. Knowledge of finance/accounting practices and budget experience.  Facility management experience a plus.

BS/BA in public or business administration, social work, gerontology, or related field.  Demonstrated history of grant writing, excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5 years of responsible work experience in related field and minimum of 3 years supervisory capacity as a planner or senior center director. Salary range $81,272 min -$97,526 max annually.
