The town of Upton, Massachusetts, seeks an innovative, dynamic, passionate Director of Elder and Social Services to serve the adult community in the new state-of-the-art Community Center.

The Director will plan, develop, implement, and advocate for programs and services offered to the older population; supervises all staff and volunteers; and serves as the ADA Coordinator. Oversees and manages the department’s operating and capital budgets, applies for grant funding and administers the operations, programs, and services of the Council.

Qualified candidates shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health, human services, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience working with the adult population in a social service or public health position or a related field; supervisory experience desirable; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
