The town of Upton, Massachusetts, has an immediate opening for the position of Interim Director of Elder and Social Services to serve the adult community in the new state-of-the-art Community Center.

Appointed by the Town Manager, the Director leads the development and execution of programs and services offered to the older population and supervises all staff and volunteers. Oversees and manages the department’s operating and capital budgets, applies for grant funding, and administers the department’s operations, programs, and services.

Qualified candidates shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health, human services, or a related field, with 5+ years of professional experience in management. A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
