David P Stevens, Executive Director

Oversees the agency operations, budget and staff. Serves as the agency’s Lobbyist and Community Relations Officer/Liaison.

Mary Kay Browne, Special Projects Director

Oversees special projects including, Mass In Motion, BenefitsCheckUp, Benefits Counseling, Aging Mastery Program, Keep Moving, and civic engagement related to jobs/volunteers. Provides resource development for new projects and serves as community liaison as needed.

Kathy Bowler, Director of Member Services

Provides technical assistance to local COAs and new Directors by promoting regionalization, certification, and accreditation. Coordinates all of MCOA’s training and events (conference, workgroups, membership meeting, etc.). Oversees development and updating of training materials, as well as the Cultural Competency Initiative. Serves as community liaison as needed.

Donna Popkin, Director of Member Services

Betsy Connell, Director of Behavioral Support Programs

Oversees the Dementia Friendly Massachusetts program, and the partnership with Dementia Friendly America; Oversees the ACL grant and Behavioral Health programs

Patty Sullivan, Program Manager, Dementia Friendly Massachusetts

Oversees the Dementia Friendly Massachusetts Initiative.

Shari Cox, Fiscal Manager

Provides management of grants, payroll, audit oversight, accounts payable and receivable.

Lynn Wolf, Communications Manager

Manages all communications and publications including Briefs and Newsletters, emails and mailings, and the MCOA website, including all contact lists. Provides support for registration and conference. Provides program management for Falls Prevention and Walking Clubs and Events.

Alan Dorman, Part-Time

Schedules meetings and events.
