 Sandra Casey Buford, PhD is a seasoned talent management professional with notable accomplishments in major industries including technology, health care, academia, and transportation.  Over the years, Sandra has helped hundreds of professionals, emerging professionals, and business owners to move forward in advancing their careers and businesses.    Sandra also specializes in assisting individuals to navigate change and transitions, and to sharpen and utilize transferable skills to identify and seize opportunities.   Through years of experience and positive results, Sandra has discovered solutions –based methods to address career and life challenges for success. A personal branding leader and advisor, Sandra coaches professionals in strategies to develop their personal brand, and formulate and implement winning strategies.

Sandra has been recognized nationally for her accomplishments in establishing programs for mentoring and coaching women and professionals of color across major industries. Sandra received high honors from Women of Wealth Magazine for her accomplishments coaching and mentoring women in aviation at Logan International Airport, and AMAC (Airport Minority Advisory Council.

In addition, Sandra received a national award from COMTO (Conference of Minority Transportation Officials) for her accomplishments coaching and mentoring women and men of color in the transportation industry. Sandra served as a member of AMAC’s National Board of Directors, and as a member of AMAC’s Professional Development Committee.  Locally, Sandra served as member of Operation A.B.L.E.’s Board of Directors, and on the board development committee.  A researcher and author, Sandra has published a number of articles on the topics of career and professional development, coaching, and mentoring.  Sandra has served as adjunct faculty at several local colleges and universities including Bentley University, Cambridge College, Lesley University, and the University of Phoenix.  Sandra recently her certification as a Certified Career, Health and Wellness Coach (CHWC); she currently owns and operates a private practice that offers clients job, career, and health and wellness coaching.
