An overview of risk factors and warning signs for suicidal behavior in older adults. Participants learn what to do if warning signs are present and become familiar with resources available. Participants will also learn about best practices and support of suicide survivors.

An overview of the IDA (Interview of Decisional Abilities) assessment currently used by Protective Service workers. Learn about how the assessment is used, how the assessment is conducted, what information can be elicited from the assessment and how the assessment is impacting protective services investigations.
