Presentations from the Conference

A big thank you to our Sponsors, Vendors and Exhibitors
We couldn’t do it without you!

To all of you super MCOA staff:

Thank you for a very special conference last week. Your detailed preparation and precise attention to all the details that make up conference planning  ensured an informative, insightful, and very learned experience for me once again. It is always great to see you and other senior center/council directors, especially to exchange ideas and gain knowledge about senior services and issues.

I plan on participating as a presenter next year and look forward to 2019.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Director, Revere Office of Elder Affairs, Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center

Just a short note of sincere thanks for a wonderful conference! The MCOA Conference is always the highlight of my fall work!

The work that goes into putting this together must be extraordinary and it shows in the variety of programs and opportunities for us all.

And I love the Sea Crest … the accommodations and food is always stellar!

Thank you never seems enough, but thank you!

Hi Lynn,

I wanted to thank you for allowing us to be presenters at the MCOA conference last week. I had never attended this conference in the past, only heard about it from a few of my colleagues in CT who attended!

I was very impressed with EVERYTHING about the conference, from the location, to how organized it was, to even the apples on the registration table! It was also super helpful to have a volunteer assigned in each room to hand out and collect the evaluations. What surprised me the most was the vendors…I had no idea, and never even gave it a thought, that there would be vendors there and I have made connections for programs and services that I can bring back to my senior center. I already booked Steve Henderson to do a 10 week theater program here and I emailed the Securities and Exchange Commission to come out to do a program on investment fraud as part of the Triad for Senior Safety I coordinate. I am super excited to start my “100 Cups of Coffee” campaign which inspired me and gave me so many ideas! That was by far my favorite workshop!

It is so hard to get out of the office, but it was worth it!

Please pass along my thanks to ALL who contributed to the success of this conference. I know it is a big undertaking!!!

I hope to attend in the future!
